Gregory Hook, Ph.D., J.D., is a Co-Founder of American Life Science Pharmaceuticals and recently served as a Patent Advisor to Diversa Corporation, San Diego, CA. Previously, Dr. Hook was a biotechnology patent attorney with the law firm of Campbell & Flores, in San Diego, and a Patent Examiner in the pharmaceutical arts at the United States Patent and Trademark Office, in Crystal City, VA. He also served as a Scientist at the Naval Medical Research Institute, in Bethesda, Maryland and trained in Biophysics at the National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, Maryland, and the Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Hook holds a Ph.D. in Biophysics and B.A., in Medical Physics from the University of California, Berkeley and a J.D. in the Intellectual Property Tract from George Mason University.
