Terry Reisine, Ph.D.
Terry Reisine, Ph.D. is a Co-Founder of American Life Science Pharmaceuticals and is a scientific founder of several biotechnology companies including Adolor, in Malvern, Pennsylvania, and is a consultant for a number of biotech companies in California and the United States, including developers of novel high throughput screening and medical diagnostics technologies, BioForcenano Sciences, Nura and DiscoveRx, and several different drug development companies focused on bringing to market novel cancer, analgesic and wound healing based drugs. Dr. Reisine is on the scientific advisory board of Nura. He is also a consultant for the investment management division of Societe Generale in France. Dr. Reisine was trained as a molecular pharmacologist and also did post-doctoral studies at the College de France in Paris and the National Institutes of Health with Dr. Julius Axelrod. He was Professor of Pharmacology and Psychiatry from 1985-1997 at the University of Pennsylvania,
where he was awarded the John J. Abel award for his work in Pharmacology. He has authored over 200 peer reviewed scientific articles and is an inventor on a number of patents.
